Aleena accepted the position of Administrator at Mallard Cove in July of 2023. Aleena finds joy in providing overall wellness and empathy in her profession. She seeks to welcome seniors and their families through fostering connection and community. Aleena graduated in 2015 with an associates of art degree from North Central Michigan College and in 2018 she went onto graduate from Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Aleena is currently completing her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Central Michigan University. She has experience in substance use disorder counseling, trauma education, case management, and end of life care. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, hiking travel trips, and horseback riding.

Lauri came to Mallard Cove Assisted Living after taking care of seniors in-home for two years. Lauri has been employed at Mallard Cove Assisted Living since the opening in 2011, working initially as Resident Care Staff. She accepted the position of Director of Operations in 2014. In April of 2017, she became Administrator of Mallard Cove. Lauri has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Anderson College. Lauri’s passion is to provide quality care to seniors, serving each resident with the same personal care and concern each of us give to our own family. She seeks to honor God by serving people of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three grown children. Lauri and her husband are active in their church, going on mission trips and teaching adults and children.
